For ninety years he has served our kind
Eternally faithful to the myrthic gods
Close to death he longs for home
While we plan to grant his wish

Climbing the liquid mountains
Into the land you left..
to spread our word
Across the sea

Dedication will not go unpaid
In the least we can ease his pass
Return our prophet to the lands of his birth
Ask the winds to carry him home

Waves oppose our direction
Refuse our westward path
But still we go..
Against the tide

Waters rise up to meet the red dawn sky
Along with the waves the prophet's craft rides
Demand to know why the gods of the sea
Barring the passage to last destiny

Myrthic gods know not the answer he seeks
Still we push forth to the land of his home
We curse the names of the wind air and sea
For treating our prophet like their enemy

This one has served gods both Myrthic and Swei
Yet you still resist his path to the bay
Days have passed and now the prophet sights home
Staring at the shore his heart turns to stone

He sees the land of his childhood home
Steel of the poison men now fully grown
Gone are the trees that would blow in the wind
With one final breath the prophet's last rites begin

Fools of the mirth's disgrace of the gods

Are you deaf to the words divine?

So many warnings that were not heard

All the signs and you still were blind

The Gods of Swei do not abandon

The faithful servants who long for death
